although Bush is the lesser of two evils between him and Kerry, I will not vote for evil.  Anyone else voting for Michael Badnarik and saying no to the status quo ?

Yup you're saying no to status quo already and yes to Kerry. Why not just go ahead and vote for him if you want him in office. A vote for anyone else is as good as a vote or him.

If I only had a choice between Bush and Kerry I wouldn't even vote so in noway is my vote for one or the other. Thanks to the libertarian party I can vote honestly. There really is not much difference between Bush and Kerry they both represent Big Government and neither support the second amendment. They are both evil and enemies of Freedom and individuals rights. voting for either Kerry or Bush is a vote for slavery to the state. It's the rest of the citizens right to vote to be sheep but it's an act I find reprehensible for me.

I am also voting the Libertarian party. You can call it a wasted vote but he is the only true candidate that stands for the 2nd amendment. I call it standing up for my beliefs even if I am not on the winning team.  In my opinion the only wasted vote is not voting at all. Flame me if you like but I feel that if you keep voting for the lesser of two evils pretty soon there is no lesser only evil

It's ironic that voting for a minor party candidate helps the mainstream party candidate whose views are most remote from the minor party's philosophy.

But I think that the battle for private gun ownership is best waged in Congress. If you have a majority of congressfolk who won't generate absurd anti-gun legislation in the first place, then you don't have to worry whether the pres. will sign or veto the bills.

So I think that who you send to the House and Senate from your state is easily as important as who you vote for president.

I'm voting Badnarik. That vote does not help Kerry one bit, unless he finds a way to convert Badnarik votes to Kerry votes, like Buchanon votes were converted to Gore votes in Florida.

Bill, after all you've said about Bush's crimes against this country, the unPatriot Act, the Incumbent Protection Act, promising to sign AW ban, why would you vote for either criminal the Republicrats are showing this year?

The problem with Libertarians is they haven’t figured out what the communists have.  You won’t get elected to anything higher than city councilman, if you aren’t with one of the two major parties.

What party do you think Kerry is really with?  Remember the hoopla over Nancy Pelosi when she first became minority speaker?  The commies have wised up a little since then, they no longer list the names of members that have gotten elected as democrats.

The libertarians also leave too much to anarchy, and don’t seem to realize the world is too small to just close our borders and let the rest of the world take care of themselves.

If I were going to vote for a minority party candidate it would be for the Constitution Party, but no third party stands a snowballs chance in haties of winning the presidency.

So why don’t you wake up and put some real thought into which of the two major party candidates best represents what you believe.  If you really believe the second amendment is the most important statement in the bill of rights.  If you believe we must be a strong nation.  If you believe in limited federal government.  You really should vote for Bush.  Otherwise you really are voting for Kerry.

Let me also say, I’m tired of hearing the “I’m voting my conscience, voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil” crap.  One or the other of either Bush or Kerry will be the next president.  If you truly wish to vote your conscience you will ponder which of them will best represent your beliefs and vote for him.

Doc is jest about perfectly correct--I would say the congressional members a far and away the most important vote.
To start an arguement--If you don't vote your conscience then your vote is a negative vote and also while I got tha box--Ya can't start a third party til you start a third party.
Vote fer tha one that will stand for your thoughts.
Blessings

Just remember the only truly  "wasted" vote is when you do not vote at all. To all get out and vote in this election.

REMEMBER TO VOTE!

Please remember that, because of the high  turnout expected at the  polls
this year, Republicans will  be voting  on Tuesday, November 2nd, and Democrats will be voting on Wednesday, November  3rd.

Be sure to remind your friends.

I liked Badnarick's views on terrorism and the 2nd Amendment. He said in an interview, in so many words, that if the 2nd Amendment was interpreted correctly, the 9-11 hijackers would not have made it past the beverage cart on the plane.
