Its nice to find another Crossbow Forum. Good information is hard to come by. I found this one with the help of the Archers on the Excalibur Forum. A wealth of information from a great bunch. In fact I just bought my first crossbow with their help and advice. Its an Exocet with a vari-zone scope package. It will be a few days till I get my hands on it, but I'am sure it will be worth the wait. Looking forward to the Archery season here in Mo. It has been along time since I've been able to hunt during the archery season because of injuries. Just looking forward to being out in the woods with a bow in hand again.

Thanks Book. Its going to be a long week waiting for it to arrive. It took me quite awhile to decide between the Vixon and the Exocet. The hard part was not being able to shoot either one before buying. I just went with the information that I recieved from those great group of guys over on the Excalibur site. Any tips on getting it put together and sighting it in that first time would be welcomed.

tkstae, be sure to watch the video that comes with your bow before you put your Exocet together and you wont have any problems. Just follow Bill T's instrructions.

Thanks for the advice Digger. I managed to come across some downloads of that instructional vidio last night. I feel a lot more confident about putting it all together. Exellent tape, easy to follow, and full of helpfull advice.
