bad ejector on a new 243 handi youth??

I just got a new 243/20 combo for my son. When I took it to the range yesterday I found that the case heads of my remington ammo wanted to slip past the ejector without catching it. Even when I carefully placed the case head on the extractor before closing the case would not eject upon fireing.

Contact NEF and they will make it right [(978) 632-9393 or 630-8220].  This is a common problem with rimless cases in the Handi Rifle.  It's a pain having to send it back, especially since it is a new gun.  I wish they would get either a better design on the ejector or better quality control or both, since this is not a once in a million occurance.
