The Federalist papers are the maternity ward and nursery for our Constitution...

Obviously, "activist judges" don't read them!

And how many have read the "Anti-Federalist" papers? These were written by the guys who predicted that the federal government would take over and tyrany would result.
It was the anti federalists who refused to support the Constitution without the Bill of Rights, I imagine they are quite upset at the way those 10 promises are ignored today.
