Which E-caller
« on: September 26, 2004, 03:34:04 PM »
OK, After reading shoreline trappers post, I guess the foxpro is the caller that most like.  but the problem is that I have some gift certificates and need to spend them at cabela's.  I want to buy a e-caller with remote control.  which is best, I have been looking at the predation MP3 caller where you can download sounds on to a card to use in the caller, but I want to make sure I get the most bang for my buck.  I want to use the caller for fox, coyote, raccoon, and try it on deer if it is legal(I will check local game laws before I do that.)  all of my gift certificates are to Cabelas so it has to be a caller that cabela's sells.

Thanks for any input
Spencer.

Hi there!

I fell for the hype over the foxpro with the remote.  I do not think the remote functions very well and I don't like the sound the unit puts out.  The overall operation of the remote seems to me like a preproduction unit than a polished de-bugged production type.  I may keep it only for the external audio jack.  I can download some other sounds, burn them to CD and plug my walkman into my foxpro.  If that doesn't work well, you'll be seing my caller on ebay before the winter is over.

Good luck on your search!
