For anyone who would be interested.
Not sure why but Walmart is currently offering the 20 gauge platinum tip for $7.50 a box that is $1.50 less than the saboted slugs. I personally love the platinum tips. I used them in my 870 12 gauge last year and they work like a dream. From what I have read it is the old Black Talon bullet renamed and reused. A 260grn 45 caliber jacketed bullet going at 1700 fps should do wonders for the deer population :grin: and at that price I just had to stock up.
