I got mine and LOVE it...for anyone who truely wants a great rifle in a all time great caliber...you better snatch this one...what was there...around 2000 of these made...and $225 in 98% is a bargin...I paid a-lot more for mine...

Says something about some "tool marks" on the bore??? Might wanna call and check with the seller about that further. Could explain the low price. JMHO

Lik2hunt...that is a true auction site...the bidding won't be over for three more days...I'm sure it will go for more than $225....surely.. As for the tool marks...sounds like typical NEF quality control..

I too am too poor to bid...I had the money for the rifle that Mac11700 beat me out of by 5 minutes :roll: ....got but it's gone now...remodeling the ole house and got a new 44 mag... :lol:

Nothin wrong with having a 44 Mag to shoot....that's a great round too :wink:

Deadeye you will love the the 44 mag I almost belive it made a deer's :-) eyes go cross when I hit it.

Yeah...the 44 is a fun round...I've got an 1894 Marlin in 44 Mag and it's a thumper alright. I actually got two deer with one shot one time (small deer but still deer) Texas Spike buck and his girl friend standing beside him with one shot!! Now thats the way to fill some tags!! I'd been wanting one of those barrels for while for the Handi..the other receiver was just a bonus.... but Mac if you want a 44 barrel I'd be glad to do some swappin with ya!!
