I've decided to put a decent scope on top of my Winchester 1000. Probably a BSA 3-12/44 or 50. The Win 1K has Olympic class barrel droop; so, I'll need a compensating mount. Given past input from you folk, I figured I couldn't lose with Beeman or BKL. Found 3 candidates:
-BKL 254 cantilever on top of a matching droop compensated riser.
-Beeman 5032, an already compensated 1-pc mount.
-Beeman 5039, a 1-pc adjustable high mount.
Any of these have any particular advantages or disadvantages, particularly fixed-droop vs. adjustable? Are there any alternate mounts suitable for the task?
Thanks.
