777 FF or FFF?

Which is more popular and why? Thanks.

I have been experimenting with both in my 50 caliber Encore.  I get better accuracy and less blowby (blowback?, fouling in the breech) with the FF.  The crud ring is a little less with the FFF, but not by much.

I don't know if the 3f T7 is the cause, but I switched to the all lead powerbelts from the copper plated bullets and am getting massive amounts of lead fouling in the bore of my black diamond. I'm going to switch to 2f to see if the leading stops. I'm shooting the 295gr pb and 105grs 3f T7 which is real accurate, but a hassle to clean.

My Encore 209X50 likes the FFF better than the FF 777.

That is shooting with 220 grain dead centers, and more recently, 200 and 250 grain SST/Shockwaves.

I shoot two pyrodex pellets and ussually one patch with Black powder solvent and a couple clean patches and I am done cleaning. I only use loose powder in my traditional side lock guns. In them I use pyrodex select.

I have only used T7 3F and had real bad crud ring so I went back to Pyrodex P.  Today I shot both powers and used rubbing alcohol before shooting to clean out the barrel oils and after each shot.  The alcohol worked for me and the crud ring was easy to go through and clean out.  

Now that I know this I am going to use up the Pyro P and go with T7 3F only.  I also found that 90 grains of T7 3F is about the same or equal to 100 grains of Pyro P.  I don't have a cronograph, but the left over sabots told the story.  Pyrodex 90-100grains only opened the sabot pedals about 2/3rds while the T7 had the pedals flat out.
