Rings and Bases for a MArlin 94?
« on: July 01, 2004, 12:45:42 PM »
My new .41 caliber needs a scope as my old eyes are just not up to shooting much beyond 100 yds with iron sights. I'll probably put a  low power Lepupold variable 1x4 say on it. I am considering a quick change system so I easily can go to the irons as a backup if needed.

Thanks for any help,
oneb

oneb;

Bought a set of WARNE mounts and rings about two weeks ago for my FG Marlin. They are very good rings. They claim that you can remove them then put them back on without losing zero.
They are the MAXIMA Series, 2 piece base and Quick Detach low height rings.
I really like them and had never heard of them till Leupold suggested them to me because they don't make a base for the 1894's.
Their web site is ... www.warnescopemounts.com
Their phone number is (503)-657-5590.

By the way, they told me if I did not like them I could send back for a refund. Sure can't beat that.  :eek:

Hope this helps oneb.

I will second the Warne recommendation very helpful folks with high quality products.   I used Warne on my 500 S&W and Colt accurized.
