busman;

Try Warne scope mounts, I hear that are some of the strongest made.
Even Leupold recommends them. They  told me to contact them because they did not make a base and scope mount for a Marlin 1894FG in 41mag.
I think you can get them through Midsouth Shooters Supply and Midway USA. But you can contact them at www.warnescopemounts.com or call them at (503)-657-5590. They are really helpful.
By the way what barrel length did you get on that 41mag?
Keep us posted on how it shoots.

If you got the 657-5 PC Hunter like mine it came with a base that screws on where the four mounting screws are. When you remove those that top bar will also come off and the base fits on that milled bar. After that base is on ANY Weaver style rings will fit that base. You can get anything you need straight from S/W website. Just got a set of low rings in the mail Tuesday, decided to take the EoTech Holo off and put a 4X Leupold on.
Love those .41s'
