will these thing work in a handi? and is this the one that you have to have the broken shell remover to get out?

i think it would be a lot of fun to have a 762x39 with a 308 bore in a handi rifle it would be like having a short low power 308win.

Yes, these should extract like normal cases. Then you have to push the smaller caliber out of the adapter. There are some front-end only adapters for 308 and 30-06 where you must use the extractor tool.
