...what a Lyman 457621 is.  I can't find it listed on the Lyman websight nor in my 3rd edition Lyman Cast bullet handbook.

I have a 1st edition of the Cast Bullet Handbook and an early Lyman reloading manual and it's not in either one.  They stop in the 400 suffixes for 457 bullets.  Might be a misprint.

I believe you'll find the mould to be a Lyman 457671 not 621. If so it is a 475 grain (Lyman #2 alloy) gas checked bullet with a sorta semi spitzer type nose. It's not sharp pointed like the 457658 but more pointy than the Postell or 457132.
