Hey madmikeray, I am just getting around to ordering it now, as a few unexpected car bills and house bills came up.  I found a company here in a Canada selling them for $244, which is $100 dollars cheaper than the local gun shop. I'll let you know soon how it works...

Hi again, still waiting for the 7000, a computer glitch at the store caused the gun to never be ordered. I had to reorder. I'm going crazy waiting for this thing.  Did you use the factory rings or buy new ones. I've heard of some scope walking issues with the gun and don't know whether to order rings also or use the supplied ones???

i would order some tall rings and put a simmons blazer 6*24*50 ao scope. that way u can target shoot and hunt with it!!!!thats what i ended up doin.....hope u get it soon , it kills me to have to wait for something too!

Hey  madmikeray, the 7000 has finally arrived - just came today, just getting the scope mounted and boresighted.  I'm planning to get out Saturday and shoot.....more waiting! I'll let you know how it shoots...Thanks for your help advice on the gun and scope/rings.  I have a 3-9X Bushnell, hopefully it will work ok.

It'll be OK but I agree with mad mike you will want more scope for targets and the rifle is capable of great accuracy with the rifles favorite ammo. these make fine Squirrel rifles.
