:D  I have a CZ 550 Battur in 30-06. Out of all of the rifles I have ever shot, this has been the most consistently accurate and reliable. I took 3 bullet weights from 7 different manufacturers. All tragets cam in sub-moa. I have the tragets to prove it. The only Down sisde id your limited on how many choices of rings you have. I simply forked out the 75.00 and got Warne quick release. They are sweet. The CZ comes standard with a double set trigger which some loathe but I love. You can adjust the rigger 10 ways from sunday. The Metal is all steel and the action comes pillar bedded. If I had the money I would buy a few more.

What Edyal said!  I have one in 6.5 X 55 and love it.  Great groups and well put together (it even has a one piece bolt, unlike Winchester or Remington).

I have a 550 American in 270. This is an excellent gun. Aside from the 0.8" groups I get at 100 yards, it's ergonomically very comfortable to shoot. It's easy to maintain.  When I was shopping, I compared it to other brands and saw no reason to pay more.  The wood in the stock is nice and straight-grained and it's very practical. It's not the most gorgeous wood in the world, but it's functionally good and is real walnut. It comes with the rings. The rings are a bit high, but they work, fine for me. I'd buy another one.  The trigger had a bit of creep when I got the gun, but the manual gives clear instructions for adjusting it.  It's very easy to do, but the stock has to come off.  The result is the best trigger I've ever felt on any rifle.  The set trigger is a neat feature. I've never actually fired a round using the set trigger. I might if I ever want to shoot 'chucks or 'dogs from a bench.

We also have two of the .22s-- the youth model and the Lux. I bought these first and I thought they were excellent so I bought the .270 when I went to shop for a centerfire.

No regrets here.

I only own 5 right now.  Three of them are 452's (2e Lux models).  Well 1 is mine the other 2 are my kids.  These 22's are the best shooting rimfires in my rack and I have quite a few.  Including 2 Winchester M52's and a Browning T-1 Tbolt and a slew of m69/72/75 winchesters.  The other 2 CZ's are 527's.  One is a 22Hornet the other a 223.  Both are the fullstock models, one with the single set trigger the other without..  They are famtastically accurate!!  I love them both.  I have a Hornet in the Kimber 82 and an old winchester 54, the CZ with a full stock no less, outshoots them both!  Were I to buy a rifle to hunt with the CZ would be my choice.
