ms - you can find better for less from Winchester, Remington and Federal, certainly. The 240 grain from a 44 magnum ( am assuming because you didn't identify the caliber) is fully capable of taking North American Whitetail. You can go to 250s, 265s, 280s and 300s if you wish but most likely not necessary unless you are hunting monster sized Whitetail. This is just my opinion but I HTH. Mikey.
