Problem with 22lr barrel shooting way high
«

I just put the iron sights back on my 10" 22lr barrel, and even with the sight bottomed out, it shoots way high. DOes anyone make a taller replacement front sight blade for these barrels?

Not trying to be smart or anything, but does the front sight adjust? I have an 10" 44 that has an adjustable front sight by means of a screw in the base. I thought I needed a front sight too until I found the adjusting screw.

I had the same problem with a 45/70 Super 14 barrel. I called T/C and told them how far it was off at 50 yards and had a new height front sight in a couple of days free of charge.
Give them a call, they will take care of you.

T/C made different height rear sights...Maybe you got the sight from a different barrel, by mistake? The rear blade(with notch) is the only thing that is different. It is easy to oops.

Bingo!!! I checked and discovered a lower height sight in my box. I swapped, and will have to check, but it looks like that should fix the problem.
Thanks a bunch!!

T/Cs have different height front sights and rear sight blades pending on the caliber and barrel length. You likely just selected the wrong set to put on your barrel. Glad you got 'er fixed.
