Yes I know there are several parts suppliers with parts for sale, but I'm looking for affordable parts gathering dust in the corner of the garage or shop needing a good home. Specifically I'm looking for a straight grip stock with finger grooves on the forend, and I need the metal (bands, swivels etc) and upper handguard. Also want a complete rear sight for the 1903. Please note that I'm NOT looking for 1903-A3 parts, but 1903 parts. The 1903 had the rear sight on the barrel. I have a sporterized 1903 that has been in the family for a long time, and would like to restore it, and possibly buy/build another original 1903 for a shooter.
I'd also be interested in a reciever or complete gun if it has not been drilled and tapped for scope mounts, something that would be restorable. Thanks for any help or info.
