I just traded for an Israeli K98k Mauser that is marked with a very small import stamp right in front of the chamber under the handguard.
Mark is : ARMSCORP SILVER SPRING MD.
Looking for info on the importer, dates of import, etc. May be a dumb question, but I'm nosy.
The rifle is re-barrelled to NATO 7.62, and the reciever is a Saur 1938, matching bolt. There are still German proof and inspection marks on the right side, and a strange German mark on the left,as well as Israeli proof and inspection marks. Bore is like new, rifle is greenish phosphate, about 99%
