Burris Zee Rings and Recoil

I am going to be mounting a scope on an 8MM Rem Mag.  Will the Burris Zee rings stand up to the recoil of the 8MM Rem Mag?  Anyone out there have experience with them on heavier recoiling rifles?

Straight Shooter,

Burris Zee rings work just fine on my .378 Weatherby Mark V.  I see no problem using them on your 8MM magnum.  Lawdog

Lawdog,

Thanks for the info.  One more question for you.  What bases are you using with those rings?

Thanks,

Straight Shooter

Straight Shooter,

I am using Leupold STD bases.  I guess Weaver would work just as well but Weaver and I had a falling out a number of years ago so I quit using their products.  Lawdog

You may want to check out Warne bases.   They are steel.

I have a set holding a Leupold 3-9x40 on a .300 Win mag and they have been outstanding!  I shoot alot with the gun in the off season and never a problem.  Weaver bases.
