Discontinued calibers
« on: September 21, 2004, 06:04:36 AM »
Hey guys, I was scratching down the various calibers chambered in, but discontinued by the modern NEF/H&R.  Check and see if my list is correct.

7x57
7x64
35 Whelen
357
444 Marlin - Wasn't this available just a few years back?
260 - Am I dreaming? I could swear seeing this on their lists.

Yet to come out:

204
22-250

Are there more? Remember just in the modern era of NEF, not the old companies.  Is the .410 combination pistol cartridge/shotgun bore still available?  I seldom visit the NEF site now w/o the message board.  Such a pitty.  In my opinion, one might want to pick up the 38-55 or the 450 Marlin before they too are discontinued.  Hope not, just a thinkin.  I am also going to get the classic Hornet before time gets to it also.  Not knocking any caliber, I just know the market and NEF.  BuzzKill

Put the .22-250 on the discontinued as well as the yet to come list.
