i´m going to get a encore in 7mm rem mag and need a scope. i can get a bushnell elite 4200 4-16x40 for 285.00. good scope? itll be for practicing shots for future hunting out to 350-400 yds. is this a good choice? THANKS for any info!!!

A good scope is always worth it. You don't wan't to get a brand new rifle and put a crapy scope on it. I have a 4-16X44 and it is great for the long shots.

I paid $330 for the 4-16X40mm Elite 4200 that is on my Encore varmint rig. Is that price on a new one? If so, jump all over it. An outstanding scope. I have no complaints with mine.
