This is so amazing that I thought I would share it with ya'll. I have had several GM vehicles over the years and the one thing you could always count on with them was putting front brake pads on every 35,000 miles.
In Dec. of 2000, I bought a new GMC xcab 1500 and I was curious to see how the new 4 wheel disc brakes would hold up. Today my truck rolled over 100,160 miles and I still have not had the brakes replaced. I bought tires two months ago and had them checked, he thought they should go another 20,000 miles. I just can't believe this!
This has been the best truck I have ever owned. I used to buy a new truck every 2 years but I am going to drive this one "till the wheels fall off". The only problem is the 15 MPG I get in it.
