Stage Strips vs. Loading Blocks
« on: January 20, 2003, 07:22:14 AM »
Wanted to get some idea as to how many of us use loading blocks vs. the leather stage strips.  We have both in use at our club.

Pro's and Con's of each would be appreciated.

Thanks

I use loading blocks because well, how were we going to phrase this? I am frugal and that's what I had. Also, I don't care much for slide them in, slide them out of the leather. Then, I don't like having something hanging off my belt while I try to shoot. Now that I see this in black and mauve (lovely browser scheme) I guess I would have chosen a block anyway.

LOADIN BLOCKS AND STAGE STRIPS

What do you do with the blocks?  Leave em on the loadin table or stuff em in your shirt.  I tried blocks...they worked ok.  Then I tried a Crown Royal bag...worked ok and almost had my wife convinced that I needed more of them bags!  Just bought a loadin strip yesterday and will use it at Winter Range.  Still tryin all this stuff to see what I like best.

I leave it at the table. If I forget somebody always reminds me. Lot's of times I just use and ammo box and pick from that. You sure won't forget to go back and get your ammo.
