Stock work

Two questions maybe the same answer.
1) I have a oversize laminated stock on a Rolling Block.Anyone suggest a stockmaker who can trim the fore and butt, and put a schnabel on the forend?
2) Any recommendations for checkering? Simple and affordable. Dont need a showroom piece just a nice basic job in a reasonable time.

What is it you want, exactly.  A simple checkering pattern and the stock shaped?  Finished?  Butt plate treatment??  laminated stocks don't hold fine checkering very well and some checkerers don't like the added wear on their tools..  I've down some, mostly 10/22 target rifles but there are many advertised in GunList that could easily serve your purpose..
