Scabbard
« on: September 28, 2004, 02:29:36 PM »
Hi Everyone,
Do not know how many of you get to read OnTarget little free magazine at my local gun shop. But I need some help on this one.
On one of the pages was a picture of a guy looking for game out over a lake.On his back was a scabbard with shoulder strapes.Looks like a nice hands free setup.Did some emailing and got down to where they got the scabbard from. Then got a email back from where they got it from and the guy that made it is no longer around!
Anyone out there know of a company that makes a scabbard with shoulder straps?
Thanks

Get the scabbard from Cabela's and make the shoulder straps yourself,  or check Williams Gunsight Co. for the proper setup and just sling it.

For my lever rifles I use the Triple K Leather scabbards. With the straps supplied I can attach them to my frame pack when needed.
I have noticed they were cut generously enough to allow a small scope to be used and fully inserted into the scabbard. POW
