NEED RAIN.

According to the news servicein Lou we've had only .18 of an inch all month. My turnips and onions are dying. I hauled 2 bbls of water from the pond today and that was all they've had since I hauled some 2 weeks ago. With all the storms we sure could have used some of that rain. POWDERMAN.

Turnips deserve to die, and horribly.

Maybe you could set up some sort of irrigation deal with those poor bass-turds over in GA.

They're getting some rain to spare.

I find that preparing to do outside jobs that need to stay dry usually attracts rain, i.e waxing the truck, staining the fence, re-roofing the  house, having a party in the back yard.

Turnips are only good raw.And we are in the 5th year of a drought in the Sierra.

Wizard, Try cutting those turnips like frenchfries, dip em in a thin beer batter and fry them.

Powderman You are not the only one needing rain, Here in Southeast Oklahoma Sure is dry, Grass for cows just cruches when walk across it.
Need to dig some post holes, so dry auger will not dig when it hits clay.
But I got about 1 1/2 this morning maybe it come on to you. it came in here ftom west Texas, some parts of West Texas got some flooding.
 Those turnip greens are good, seasoned with salt pork, thence pepper sauce on em. Good luck Marv.

I like them turnips any way I getem. smashed with potatoes, roasted garlic, butter and sour cream.
