first day at range with 981t
« on: October 02, 2004, 08:04:50 PM »
I spent my first day at the range with my new Marlin 981T. First and foremost the "NEW" 900 fire control system is a joke! The trigger on this rifle is the worst I have ever come across. I did not use a scale, however I can assure you from experience that the trigger pull is at least 8 pounds! Do not believe the advertisements about lighter trigger pull, they are incorrect. Before I recieved this gun I had already purchased and recieved a Rifle Basix trigger from Midway. I will be installing this trigger tomorrow, and will report back here with the results.

somehow, I can't say I'm suprised.......Lawyers, can't live with them, and can't shoot em!  Just a slick marketing gimmick?
