In Tennessee we have a spring squirrel season. I love to hunt squirrels with a .22 rimfire rifle. My current rig is a Kimber Hunter rifle with a 3x9 Burris rimfire scope. This rifle makes head shots easy, which doesn't mess up any eatable meat and makes for quick kills with the Wolf Match Target ammunition that I use. For many years, I hunted with a shotgun. When I changed to a .22, I found that I took a bit less game, but enjoyed the hunt more.
