K-Hornet Loads
« on: November 30, 2004, 11:23:22 AM »
I've decided to turn my Ruger 77/22 Hornet into a K-Hornet and I need some good loads. I have rented a reamer and plan on doing the work shortly. Can you guys supply me some?  Thanks in advance.

Edwin

45 LC, Where did you rent the reamer, and I would like to know how easy it is to do and did it help accuracy. I have a 77/22 hornet and have thought about reaming mine to the K-Hornet.

Thanks

Some fellow on one of the sites offered to rent it to me for $25. I got it yesterday in the mail but that is all. I probably will let my gunsmith do the reaming for me. When it is done I'll send it back to him and ask him if it is ok to list his name.

That is a great conversion! Youi will be amazed by the difference.

My VHZ K Hornet zings out Hornady 35 gr bullets at over 3200 fps, and accurately to 150-175 yrds. At 100 yards the tiny groups are only to be dreamed of by the out of the box rifle in 22 Hornet.  And I have not yet started to play with Lil Gun. I'm just using W296.  Work up from 13 grs...
