I have a 21" Bullberry 22 Mag, in Bull configuration. I have a 3 x 9 Burris scope on it. I found that with my carbine barrels, I like the weight and feel of the bull barrels, and I also like the weight of the walnut stock and custom forearm. I think you will enjoy the 22 Mag in carbine configuration, I do. My barrel is a Match barrel, and it took some effort to find the shells best suited for it. Accuracy was not the issue, it was finding the ones that would chamber with the tight match tolerances.
