Primer carrier question ?
« on: October 07, 2004, 01:10:50 PM »
...is it possible to load a primer  on a sidekick without the primer carrier?...if not how long do they typically last?...what happens if H+R stops making them in the future....can the gun be fired without one? :D

Answer to your first question is Nope...won't work...Answer to #2, I've shot over 100 times thru the same carrier and still haven't had a primer loosen up ... and its still as red as it ever was, just clean it with soap and waterand a tooth brush...So if your still worried "will H&R stop making them" buy your self a couple of extra bags...they'll last ya a couple of life times....MTNMAN
