« on: October 08, 2004, 05:38:50 AM »
Anyone here like to use boxtraps? I love to use them for coon and have a few of them the only thing is they are large and awkward to carry but i will give them this on land where you cant use conibears or footholds outside of the water like the hennipen canal around here they sure do come in handy for catching the coon around there and it wont hurt peoples animals but anyways just wondering if any of you guys like to use them
Season Starts November 5th!!!

About the only time I use box traps is when I do ADC work. If its in town there is almost always cats running around and its a lot easier to release a cat from a box trap than it is a foot trap or snare. The only time I use them during the trapping season is colony traps for muskrats in runs and den entrances. Worm
