The stuff dreams are made of
« on: October 14, 2004, 12:22:22 PM »
I'm a sucker for a nice falling block, especially Hi Walls.  I just like the clean lines.  Currently have a B-78 in .22-250 and a Lo Wall in .223.  Anyway, since things are slow around here lately, I'd thought I'd point out one currently on Cabelas "Gun Library",under "Fine Rifles": a C-Sharps 1885 Hi Wall Sporting Rifle.   URL is http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/community/gun/gun-details.jhtml?contentId=21711557_shps85&hierarchyId=10473.  Big bucks, but what a beauty.

Well, right; but I'd guess few of us have the option, like you, to just open the vault and see a lot of nicer stuff (no envy here. Oh no). Just kidding; I've seen enough of, or about, your collection to know you have some fine originals.  I can only look at that kind of stuff and dream. Peace.  Peter F.
