Simmons Whitetail Classic??

Has anyone had some experience with this scope.....i can get one for either $80 or $100 used.......is that a good price??

also how does it compare to the Simmons 44 mag, and Simmons ProHunter??

Owned ONE. It was a 4-12X with AO. The AO didn't adjust at all. Nothing on it worked right. Yes I bought it brand new. Gave it away. Sorry excuse for a scope.

Every Simmons I've had since was as bad or worse. Only way I'll have one is if it just happens to be on a rifle I buy used. Then it comes off shortly after the rifle comes home and is trashed. So my experience with them is horrible at this time.
