Changing tactics-location in mid season?
« on: November 10, 2004, 11:01:26 AM »
It seems that I have fallen into a bit of a rut. One of the hotspot stands near my home isn't so hot anymore. It seems that the deer have patterned me and now totally avoid the area. This stand is very close to some homes so it is bow only.

I am thinking of actually sitting on a chair with my Rancho gillie suit near the point where the deer I saw last had gone. I am wondering if this would work out?

I change up all the time. It works great for me. I like to hunt from the ground as well as in stands. Give it a try.  :D

Don't worry about the camo, it isn't worth the concern. Like stated above I am CONTINUALLY changing my tactics, with the exception of never using a stand, I hate the dang things. Get on the ground and move around some. Good things come to those that move.
