Moderately priced springer safe scope??
« on: October 22, 2004, 11:33:30 AM »
Is there such a thing as a fixed power scope that is moderately priced and will hold together on a 1000 FPS springer? If there is, please name it. If there isn't, how about a red dot covering 3 MOA? Will they hold up?

lilabner,

Go to http://www.bsaoptics.com/productdetail.asp?ID=443&Prod_Code=AR4X32 and check out the new line of BSA scopes.  I have one on my Tech Force 99m in .22 caliber(900 fps.) and my son in-law has one on his RWS 350M, also a .22 caliber(1050 fps.).  A very close friend has one on his .177 cal RWS 52(1100 fps.) and all are holding up as well as you could want.  These are not the BSA scopes of just a couple of years ago.  Well worth checking them out.  Lawdog
