Excellent range report
« on: October 18, 2004, 03:21:16 PM »
I took the sidekick to the range today! I started out at 25 yds. It took only 3 shots to get on. I then went to 50 yds. Surprising to me, it took 2 shots .  :toast:  I like the adjustments on the rear sight. It might be simple and crude but it's better than the staghorn. BTW, the staghorn was dead, I mean dead on at 50. The sidekick is dead on too.  Since I had time I cleaned that bad boy at the range. Man, now that was fast and easy too.    I was using 245 PB bullets and T7( 90) grains. There will not be a reason to use more. It shoots wonderfully.I used the #13 tc presoaked pads, then used some pads soaked in rubbing alcohol,( air dried)  bore buttered that baby and put it away. :yeah:  Now the staghorn took a little bit longer, as I knew it would. but cleaned it the same. It's love at first sight with the sidekick :biggun:  Again , NER/HR has made a believer out of me, AGAIN. I'm an avid bowhunter, but I can't wait for ML season. now! WOOO HOOO!! :sniper:
