Well; I went and did it again!
« on: October 14, 2004, 12:01:21 PM »
I made a swap at a local shop for a used Mod 94 XTR in great shape. Traded an '06 I had w/Bushnell Elite 3200 2x7. I got to keep the scope which I thought would be too heavy and bulky; but it sits real nice on the 94 and looks great. Not too heavy at all. Plus I got a nice chunk of cash to boot! I may use it to put a scout type scope (pistol scope) on my other 94 which is a top eject with a Lyman reciever sight. Not sure yet. Darn; I think this lever gun thing could become addicting! Next will be a Mod 9422 w/scope. Can't wait to try the new lever at the range and see how the other w/peepsight shoots since I changed the front sight. Wahoo! Somebody help me!!

My wife said "Is that it?" I said yes; until I come across a Savage Mod 99 in A-1 shape in 300 Savage. That didn't go over too well!

Definitely an addict.  Time for an intervention.  Qtip there's only one way to save you.  You'll have to GIVE ME the XTR.  Upstate NY huh?  I'll meet you half way!

I don't think I'm ready to give either of them guys. Nice though. I guess from listening to others the best way to cope is just feed the addiction!
