Howdy all,
Wondering if anybody has used the Appalachin Contender carbine stock from Fox River Outfitters? If so how is comb height for sighting thru a scope? How about the general "feel"?
I am currently using the factory Rynite stock and find the comb height low even with a raised pad. Also, with a carbine length bull barrel, the rig is seriously muzzle heavy. Is the Appalachian Stock any heavier than the rynite mdl.? It certainly could be made so, stuffed with extra ammo, ect.
I could also envision filling the cavity with a bag of lead shot for range work with the likes of a 45-70 bbl. (Don't have one yet, but one can always wish  ) Thanks for everything, G.
