Blackpowder Mortar and Cannon photo Album
« on: September 22, 2004, 02:43:44 AM »
We are going to set up a Blackpowder Mortar and Cannon Photo album.  Send me your favorite Cannon picture and I’ll post them up for you.

Here are the guidelines

    1.   Can be a battery of your guns.
    2.   Can be a single gun. But only one picture per single gun will be posted.
    3.   You can be in the picture with the gun, but not required.
    4.   You should provide a description of your gun.
    5.   Picture can be digital. No restriction on size but should be in .bmp or .jpg format.
    6.   Chemical pictures “Photo’s” can be no larger than 8x10. Contact me for snail mail and I will scan them in.[/list:u]
    Hint’s:
Watch your back ground. Pictures taken on the work bench in the shop with the normal shop clutter in the background are no good. Remember you are taking a picture of the gun not the country side, get close.  When you look in the view finder, look behind and in front of the gun.  Best place to take pictures of your gun is on the Range.Get close to the gun to take the picture. Don’t shoot down on the gun, shoot your picture level with the gun.

I will do some limited photo editing and will be reducing them in resolution and size to fit out board.  You can send more than one picture, but only one w ill be posted per gun.

The photo album will be locked, only the moderators will be able post to it.

I should have checked, I forget it won't give out email addresses. That's good security

Click on the email button at the bottom of  this message and send me a standard email and I will send you the email address where to send the picture.  Convoluted, I know, but we both avoid spam that way.

I have changed the format on the photo albums. Go to the sticky at the top of the board to see the format.
