Selecter switch
« on: October 29, 2004, 06:32:58 PM »
I am not a shotgunner so............a friend of mine has a self loading shotgun (monkey wards I believe) on the front of the forend is a selecter switch which is marked H - L.  I would surmise it has some thing to do with the gas porting system.  Anyone know what exactly this is for.  We were guessing High pressure/Low pressure, or High brass/Low brass.   Thanks in advance.

That would be correct, if you look when you change the setting it changes the size of the vent, and a high brass has more pressure.
