Does anyone have any complaints about the Mosin Advanced technology scope mount. Not the scout mount, the one you have to get a new bolt body for? If not, what is the best possible non scout mount?

The problem I have heard of with the ATI kit is the bolt modification part.The screw holding the bolt handle comes loose.The mount  itself is aluminum.
Take a look at Choate mounts before you decide.

I purchased a mosin scopemount from Interordnance its very close to the orginal scopemount but it has a weaver rail and the bent bolt from surplusrifles.com its the same as the orginal sniper bolt.    BigBill

there is pics of my mosin in the members gallery on page 11 it shows the mount and bolt.

What about the distance of your head? On my enfield before I got a cheekrest you had to hold your head above the stock in order to look through the scope. It seems like the old replica mounts are too high. How does that mount feel?

It is a higher mount but thats how the orginal one is too. It feels ok to me.
