Looking for opinions.  Does anyone feel Edge Pro Apex is worth the extra money over the Lansky system?  TIA

Sharpner Question

I've tried a lot of differant sharpeners over the years, but for me the best is a Norton Fine India bench stone, the longer the better.

I used to use the Lansky, or something like it, but found the sharpeners with guids and such are like training wheels on a bicycle, the get the job done but are limiting.

Get a good bench stone and a couple of Old Hickory knives(there cheap) and practice.

Good luck

I use a Norton Fine India Stone as well. Love it. I also use a long piece of Carbide Shaped like a bar for really bad edges. A few  passes on it and the edge is ready for the stone. It really makes the edge straight and true.Try it. Have a good one :D

BG if you use knives very much get the Norton Multi-Oilstone. You have three large stones that revolve through oil. It will last a lifetime and I know of nothing to compare with it. Can do any job.  POW
