Knight Barnes bullet Review

I used the Knight Barnes 285 grain bullets this past week to take a buck and doe here in MD. great performance. The first shot was on a buck with a extreme quartering away shot. (60 yards) I hit him high at the last rib and the bullet passed completely through and exited the off shoulder. I had done this in the past and not had the bullet go through resulting in a difficut track. The secong was on a doe at close to 120 yards. Bullet hit the shoulder breaking rib on both sides and complete pass through. Doe just dropped. I have been shooting Hornady 300 SST but tried these on a recommendation from a friend. Nice thing was that impact was the same as the Hornady so no need to move the scope adjustments.
Chauk two more kills to the Huntsman. What a great riffle. I also am starting to get used to the short ram rod on the gun. Once you get used to it it is not that bad. Just slows the process down having to extend it.

I live in Calvert County and hunt in the area. These deer were shot in the Huntingtown Public hunting area. Lots of deer down here and some pretty good bucks are taken each year.
