I've used nickeled cases in .223 Rem., 7-30 Waters, .243 Win., 7-08 made from .308 Win. and .30-06 that I can recall in addition to the straight wall pistol rounds.
If anything I find they are easier to size and sure seems to me should be easier on the dies not harder on them. I just have found no down side to them. They are the ONLY case I use in 7-30 for my hunting loads. For othegr general shooting I still use formed cases from .30-30 as well as brass FC 7-30 headstamped cases. I probably have 500+ 7-30 cases in use with half or more loaded at any given time. I like nickel cases.
