Encore scope mounts

Does anyone know what the best mount to use on a heavy recoil encore would be.  I do not like the 4 little mounting holes so close together but I guess they will have to do.  What mounts do most use on something like a 300 mag. - leupold, weaver, T/C, Burris ???

I personally use the Warne mounts and rings on all my Encores. I have one on my 300 Win Mag barrel and it works great.  :D

i like the 3 ring redfield mount, but i also lap the rings on those with a tool i made from 1" bar stock.
i also like a weaver base with your choice of 2,3, or 4 rings. burris signature rings are nice..........leupold rifleman vertical split rings are pretty cool. just depends on my mood at the time, i reckon. :-)

Just spend the $$$$ and send it to SSK for a 1/4Rib TSOB. Just got my first on an Encore(450Marlin 15"). Looks even better than the Contenders TSOB. It's well worth the $$$ around 120.00 tax, shipping. It comes with 3-rings also. I have 4 reg TSOB's and a full-lenght TSOB w/vent rib on a 375JDJ that looks awesome!!  On the 450Marlin barrel, I bought this barrel cheap after the original owner ATE a 2x6 Bushnell and Weaver base(standard 4-screw) and rings hit him right beteew the eyes when the screws stripped out on recoil. They paid a gunsmith to put bigger srews on the weaver base and was too scared to shoot it again. Add up the $$$$. Just a little more and you can buy the best , after failures from the lesser kind.
