Howdy,

In general, there are three ways to get a good name.
One is make it up, it can be a play on words or a place name.  Like Rolan Kraps or Sand Creek Kid (or Cheyenne Ranger).
Next is historical names, folks who lived and died back in the past.  There are thousands of lawmen, soldiers and others who's names are perfectly fine to use.  In fact, I think finding some of the more obscure folks is fun.
Finally, use an ancestor or a composite of your ancestors.  That really makes it YOUR name..

That's my dos centavos.. good luck,

http://www.pineywoodsplace.com/aliases.html

This is the best collection of aliases (aliai? ;)) in use for CAS.  It is a good place to find what is taken.  Just use your imagination.

I think you will find that you are in a large crowd of folks who thing JW is great.  I doubt there are many of his movie names left to take...

And just cause it hit me as funny.. how about Cow Paddy?  Haw!

Welcome Marshal,

Just remember that if you join SASS it could be taken.  Pineywoodsplace doesn't list all the SASS alisases but not a problem here.

Let us know what we can help you out with.
