Help with G2 compatibility

I own 4 contender barrels, none older than 1995 manufacturer. I purchased a G2 pistol frame today. When I got home and put on my 14" TC hunter 7-30 barrel on it it wont cock. The same for my hornet barrel and 44 mag barrel. My 22 match barrel works fine and it is the oldest of the bunch. All look identical and the pin that holds the split lug measures the same on all 4. Are there issues here? This is a brand new frame. Joseph

Had the same thing happen to me. I took gun back to TC and they replaced the locking lug and it works fine now. At no charge. The problem seems to be that the old lugs will not push back  the mechanism that allows you to cock the hammer. It was frustrating when I bought the G2 and they promise old barrells will fit. But theiservice is excellent.
