Cast Hunting Bullets - Where To Buy Them ?
« on: November 02, 2004, 04:46:31 AM »
I have been using mostly jacketed hollow points for reloading in my .44 magnum Encore; however, I think I would like to try some cast lead bullets for hunting.

I am looking for a source for cast lead bullets that offers a good value for my money.

I define value as the best quality bullet, that provides the best ballistic performance, for the least amount of money.

Thanks,
Fred

At what fps are you wanting to run these bullets?
I have a nice flat nose bullet that I use in my pistol and buddy uses it in his lever rifle.

I would let you have some if you would like to try them.
If you like them maybe you can find some on the market like them.

Drop me a PM if you want 50. Just make sure let me know the FPS.

No doubt there are a lot of companies out there that provide a good product. We can only make suggestions from experience, and I enjoy dealing on a personal level.

I have had great success dealing with CUSTOM CAST BULLETS, and have found them to provide the kind of quality that the hunter can rely on. If your not ready to make the step into producing your own bullets, give them a try at wdoudna@hotmail.com
